That cookie looks amazing, right? They taste even better! This recipe made 9 big, chewy cookies for me and between me, my boyfriend and my mum, they were gone in two days. Just carry on down the page to find out how to make them! They’re easy, and even better, easily customisable!
1 1/2 cups all purpose flour
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 cup granulated sugar
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup vegetable oil
1 large egg
1 cup what ever you want to add! In this recipe i will be using walnuts.
The entire recipe is beyond simple. In one bowl, combine all dry ingredients apart from the walnuts and just stir them together. Then, in another bowl, add all the wet ingredients like you see pictures above and mix them all together until smooth.
Next, add them together. With in a few minutes of mixing you will have the dough you see above! This is when you add your extra, in this case walnuts. Because walnuts are so big i crushed mine first and added just under a cup. For things like chocolate chips this isn’t necessary.
Scoop the couch into balls on a greased cookie tray and press them down lightly. Then bake at 350 degrees f for around 10-13 minutes, or until golden brown.
Once they come out, they should look like those below! They’re absolutely delicious!! Me and my boyfriend had them with hot chocolate while my mum had them with tea. They’re chewy, soft and just plain delicious.
