5 minute malteaser cookie dough!

I’ve been seeing eggless, edible cookie dough all over the web lately so i decided i’d give it a go, with my own spin of course. This recipe uses malteasers rather than usual chocolate chips meaning that i use a lot less sugar than many of the other recipes i have seen. I’ll stop rambling amd get to it now!
Ingrediants:

1 block of butter. Is it called a block? Just when you buy butter, the whole thing.

1/2 to 3/4 cup of sugar, it really depnds on how sweet you like it.

1 1/2 cups flour.

2 cups malteasers

This recipe is so easy, it’d be great to do with kids since theres also little heat and no sharp objects involved. You begin by melting your butter for around 45 to 55 seconds in the microwave. Once mostly melted just throw it in a bowl and add all the sugar. Stir just until its absorbed, then add the flour and stir again. At this point it’ll seem super dry but if you squish it together with your hands it becomes a real dough. Finally, simply crush the malteasers with a rolling pin and fold them in.

This is, surprisingly, a super versatile thing. It can be served in many different ways, i enjoy it in its own with a few whole malteasers sprinkles over, as you can see in the picture. My boyfriend always has it with ice cream and we’ve discussed putting it between oreos or other biscuits as a delicious filling. I imagine it would also be delicious served as a side to any desert. You could even replace malteasers for a vegan chocolate to cater to any vegan friends you may feed over the holidays!
