I don’t put a huge ammount of effort into my skin because i’m one of those annoyingly lucky people that simply doesn’t need to. I get the odd spot but they’re few and far between. I don’t even remember the last time i wore concealer or foundation despite doing my eye make up almost everyday. I think this is largely thanks to the skin care routine i have, it’s simple but effective so i thought i’d share it with you.
First, i always put sunscreen on. The brand varies but in the winter i use factor 15 and in the summer i use factor 50. I am pale and burn fairly easily so in the summer its necessary but in the winter its just to help keep away any extra damage to my skin, just because i can.
Next, i mousturise. Every morning i put moogoo’s blemish cleansing mousturiser all over my face and down my neck, followed by an eye roll on, i vary between brands and usually use one by maybeline but am currently using one by dermav10. It helps me wake up and helps mousturise my delicate under eye skin.
The part of my routine that i never, ever forget is removing my make up. I just can’t bring myself to climb into bed with it all still on. I’m currently using bee good 2-in-1 cream cleanser and i can see myself using it for a long time to come. Its strong enough to remove my make up but so gentle that my skin doesn’t end up getting dry. I follow the cleanser up with another dermav10 product, the q10 inovations night cream which is really thick and luxurious.
I do very little for the skin on the rest of my body. I exfoliate probably once every two weeks and put on some sort of body butter every few days. I also use lush massage bars quite often, usually when Rich is feeling kind enough to give my back a rub!
I’d love to hear more about what you do to your skin down below! It’s always interesting to hear about other peoples routines.
