This week has been full of nerves because I’m starting a job soon so I’ve been trying to do as many things that I enjoy while I still can!
Bake off is back! I think its common knowledge now that I adore Noel Fielding so its no surprise to anyone that I think bake off is back and better than ever.
I’ve always really enjoyed are but these last few years I felt pressure (from myself, mostly) to figure out what I want to do with my life and I knew that I wasn’t ever going to be a professional artist so I stopped seeing the point in doing art. I see the point again now, I love it and I don’t need to do it to try to get into galleries or be the next Andy Warhol, I can just do it because I enjoy it and thats fine.
I use my hands a lot when I paint, I find it so difficult to blend colours with a brush so I tend to just dive in with my fingers and hope for the best, hence why I always end up with hands that look like this.
I went to a party! I know, its a shock to the system that I went to a party, but I did. I had a great time, though I drank a little too much, and I’m absolutely in love with the friends I’ve made lately. I just wish a social life and a job hadn’t come at the same time! Suddenly I have plans almost every day and its very strange, but I like it.
