Things I’m Grateful For

Now we’re getting towards the end of the first month of the year, I’ve been thinking a lot about how grateful I am for how well everything is going and the way my life is! If you’ve been around for a while you’ve seen a few posts like this, but I really do think it’s so important to pay attention to the good things in life.

First off this morning I’ve been so grateful for my body. Like everyone ever I’ve been going to the gym more often this month, and I’m so thankful and lucky to have a body that can lift weights and do cardio without being in pain or finding it more difficult than it has to be. Not everyone’s that lucky and I spent so long focusing on my bodies outward appearance I’ve rarely taken the chance to appreciate how well it works.

I’m also incredibly grateful to have my cats in my life! With our new addition we have three fur babies now, and they all have such different but perfect personalities. They’re all just adorable, and so affectionate, and I just couldn’t imagine not having them all around now.

Rich has to get a mention next. We’ve been together for over six years now and he still makes me laugh so hard I feel like I could throw up. He’s also recently switched to a vegan diet and it’s amazing that even this far into our relationship I still get to see him learn and grow as a person. I’m so grateful to have had him in my life this long and still love being around him, and I’m like 80% the feeling is mutual!

I know this is one I include a lot, but I’m so grateful for my job! I love getting to work around tapes, and so many cool people come through the building for various things. It’s really forced me to step out of my comfort zone, and talk to more people, which I totally needed and I’m really grateful to have the chance to work with so many brilliant people to make a small local business great!

Finally, I’m really grateful for all the brilliant vegan products that have been coming out! From doughnuts to steak bakes, pizzas to pasties, I’ve eaten some bloody good food this month, and none of it hurt animals in anyway!

Let me know in the comments some of the things you’re grateful for this month, I’d love to hear them!
