Eco Shoots Bambuds and Reusable Cotton Pads!

With discussions about eco friendly and reusable products on the rise, I’ve become a lot more aware of my waste this year. The first to go was clingfilm and plastic bags, more has followed, but my main struggle has been face wipes. I used them for everything, washing my face, taking make up off, I even had moisturiser ones!

So of course when Eco Shoots offered to send me some reusable cotton pads, I saw this as my chance. As always, although these products were sent to me at no cost, to be reviewed on my blog, all opinions are my own and 100% honest.

I’ll start by just saying they’re brilliant. These reusable cotton pads come in a pack of 24, along with two mesh bags to wash them in. At just £13, I think that’s a real bargain. They’re also double sided, the black side exfoliates as well as ensuring it won’t be stained by male up, and the white side is super soft, perfect for a quick wipe or applying toner.

They also sent me their Bambuds, biodegradable and plastic free cotton buds. I don’t personally use cotton buds at home, but we do use them in work, so I’m really glad we finally have some that aren’t bad for the planet! We use them for cleaning mould off tapes, and we can get through a lot, so now we’re not only saving tapes from landfills, but also cotton buds! Plus, at £8 for 1000 buds, we’ll be saving money too.

Overall I’m really impressed by these products, the cotton pads especially, I’ll be using for a long time to come. The packaging is also really aesthetically pleasing, and all recyclable cardboard. The only downside for me is that they dispatch their products through Amazon. Having worked for the company, and read plenty about them, I really wish a brand I believe in like Eco Shoots would use someone else to send their products. Having the only issue with a brand be their mailing arrangement is a lot less than most brands though, and it’s up to each individual to decide for themselves if they’re okay with it.
